There is no one more deserving of the title “A Man On A Mission” than Roderick Patterson, also known as Sir Rod. His positive outlook has paved the way for tremendous success over the years. As a resident of Atlanta, GA, Sir Rod has founded several impactful organizations, including Sounds of Knowledge—a school-touring company that brings uplifting messages to young people through the power of music. Previously, he led one of the country’s largest school assembly companies, Diversity Showcase Assemblies, where his efforts touched the lives of over a million children nationwide. Additionally, he has served as an art director for So-So Def Recordings and Georgia Perimeter College.
Sir Rod’s influence has reached far and wide, including an invitation to Camp Humphrey Military Base in South Korea, where he presented his Anti-Bullying program to more than 6,000 students across all schools on the base. His dedication to positive impact extends beyond youth, as he also serves as a Nurturing Artist in prisons and regularly visits nursing homes and assisted living facilities. Through his unique “One Man Motown Show,” Sir Rod entertains senior citizens and special needs individuals with performances of classic hits by legends like The Temptations, Michael Jackson, and more.
As an entertainer, artist, motivational speaker, and a 7 x author, he believes his life to be a positive example to others.
